I've been a few times recently to the GB in Stratford-upon-Avon. It has always been "ok" previously, it's a Spoons - good value, and you get what you pay for.
However, this week it was very disappointing. Overcooked (ruined!) Fred eggs on the all day brunch and when the food emerged from the kitchen it just sat there. I waited for a minute before going to collect myself from the hot plate. Others followed my lead. Poor service. Absent in fact.
Sticky tables & piles of uncollected plates everywhere.
Not good enough, try harder.

Good. Exactly as you would expect from a Wetherspoons. Exceptionally fast food service.

Es nuestra segunda vez en "The golden fleece" y sigue siendo igual de pintoresco y ambientado. Sin embargo la calidad de la comida ha bajado con respecto a la primera vez, incluso para los estándares ingleses. La presentación muy bien y el servicio a través de la app muy rápido, pero el pastel de carne y los postres ya no son caseros y eso se nota. A pesar de esto, comimos muy bien, así es que recomiendo visitarlo para comer p tomar una cerveza. Tienen menú infantil así es que es ideal para ir con niños.

Disappointing Experience
Visited JD Wetherspoon and was really disappointed with the service. Had to wait over 30 minutes for food, which is frustrating enough, but when it was finally ready, it was left sitting on the side for over five minutes before a waiter collected it. By the time it reached the table, it wasn’t as hot as it should have been.
The cleanliness of the pub was also an issue. I noticed a few flies around while sitting at the table, but the worst part was the toilets—flies all over the walls, which was really off-putting.
Overall, poor service and questionable hygiene made this a very disappointing visit. Wouldn’t rush back.

The food and beer were up to scratch. However, the place was way too cramped, making the dining experience pretty unpleasant.
